Bluegrass Wednesdays ft.County Road 44

Each month Bluegrass Wednesdays begins with a 2 hour concert followed by a jam session. Always a good time - always a good crowd! It's been a while, but we're pleased to announce that our featured band for October is County Road 44 - the South Grenville Bluegrass Festival House Band! This 5 piece band knows traditional bluegrass, and how to have fun - two great ingredients for a super fun concert. Shawn Wallace (mandolin, guitar, and vocals) has become a stellar singer and player. Shawn can sing a serious song as well as any, and his stage persona along with the wonderful Heather Aitken on banjo and vocals are great foils for each other, as they always lighten any stage with their interplay and laughter. Lisa Pigeau, (bass and vocals), Bernie Colville (guitar and vocals) and Joe White (fiddle and vocals) round out this band. Joe has been a terrific addition to the band - one of the best bluegrass fiddlers you'll ever hear!As always, following the concert will be a jam until 11pm. So bring your ears, instruments, and / or voices.
